Réalisé à partir d'animations originales en stop-motion par Juliette Zanon, Émilie Zanon et Pierre Chanel, ce premier clip extrait de l'album CROCORAMA prend la forme d'une vive critique du capitalisme et de la barbarie néo-libérale qui n'omet pas une bonne dose d'humour et une note d'espoir…

The Shindig! Session

[A Lockdown live session for Shindig! Magazine]



During the lockdown imposed under the epidemic, the great Shindig! Magazine (UK) asked us to record and shoot a whole show that has been broadcast on May, 24th 2020. As Alice (keyboards) and Romeo (drums) were isolated in different places with no way to get together, we decided to make this duo session (only Fanny and Guillaume) with a drum-machine and special arrangements to play these 10 songs at home, in our home studio. Enjoy !

J'ai vu un Croco [video]

A few weeks ago, during the covid19 'Lockdown', the French Radio 'NOVA' asked us to record a NEW VERSION of the song J'ai vu un Croco (from our previous album Speculatio) and to make a video on it.

We decided to take up the challenge with the means at hand and record and cut this 'Lockdown video project' shot with a simple phone at home in 3 days.

As the 4 members of Odessey & Oracle were isolated in different places with no way to get together, Alice and Roméo sent Fanny and Guillaume some video rushes which have been integrated into the video.

Here is this new version of J'ai vu un Croco. More synthetic and electronic than the original one, the arrangement brings us in the time of the pionneers of 'electronic pop' in the 70's (Kraftwerk's Autobahn…).

UPDATE : Due to the epidemic, the release of Odessey & Oracle 3rd album, Crocorama 
(originally due for release on April, 24th) will finally come up on October, 16th 2020.

Our third album “Crocorama” will be out on April 24th, 2020.

It will be released on the french labels Another Record & Dur et Doux (L'Autre Distribution) and the help of Outré Disque for UK distribution.

It talks about crocodiles and infamy but optimistically because better days will come…
